Terms of service
The rules for the services markarov.dev provides by electronic means (Article 8 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on Providing Services by Electronic Means) and our contact point under the EU Digital Services Act.
1Service provider
The services are provided by Maxim Markarov, a sole trader registered in Poland (entry in CEIDG), below “we”:
Maxim MarkarovJDG MAXIM MARKAROVul. Kunickiego Stanisława 53/1, 54-616 Wrocław, PolandNIP 8943181769 · REGON 521291095 · CEIDGsupport@markarov.dev2Services and price
We provide the following services by electronic means, all free of charge:
- Access to the pages of markarov.dev: the studio, app and security pages and the documents they link to.
- Web tools that run in your browser, such as the natal chart calculator. It computes on your device and sends nothing to our server.
- The audit request form on the security page: you describe what you want checked, and we answer by email.
- Demo apps under /demo/, for people we invite. Each demo is a separate service with its own privacy policy.
Our mobile apps are not covered by these terms: each app has its terms in its own policy, listed at markarov.dev/docs/.
3Technical requirements and risks
To use the services you need a device with an internet connection and a current web browser with JavaScript turned on. The form also needs an email address at which you receive mail.
Like any service on the internet, using the site carries the usual risks: malware, phishing (pages or emails pretending to be us), interception of data on an unsecured network, and unauthorised access to your device. We serve every page over HTTPS; on your side, keep your browser and system up to date.
The site installs no software on your device. It saves only a few settings in your browser's local storage (theme, language, cookie-notice choice, game score); the privacy policy lists them.
4Rules of use
When you use the services, you must not:
- provide or post unlawful content, for example in the form or in a demo;
- try to break into the site or the demos, disrupt them, or overload them with automated requests.
If you find a vulnerability, report it to support@markarov.dev instead of testing further.
We may limit or block access from an address that breaks these rules; the automatic block for probing lasts up to 6 hours.
5When a contract starts and ends
A contract for an electronic service is concluded free of charge when you start using the service. It lasts:
- pages and web tools: from the moment you open a page until you close it or leave the site;
- audit request form: from sending the form until the request is closed, once we have answered it, or earlier if you tell us you no longer need an answer;
- demo apps: from your first sign-in with the invitation until you stop using the demo, or until we close it or end your access.
You may end any of these contracts at any time, without giving a reason and at no cost: close the page, stop using the demo or write to support@markarov.dev.
Because the services are free, we may change or stop any of them. Requests already sent will still be answered.
6Complaints
If a service does not work as these terms describe, write to support@markarov.dev: what happened, where (the page address) and when, and how we can reach you. We answer by email within 14 days of receiving the complaint.
7Contact point and illegal content
Our single point of contact under Articles 11 and 12 of the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065), for the authorities of the Member States, the European Commission, the European Board for Digital Services and for users of the services, is support@markarov.dev. You can write to us in English, Polish or Russian.
To report content you believe is illegal, write to the same address: give its exact address (URL), explain why you think it is illegal, and add your contact details. We review each report and tell you what we decided.
8Apps and paid audits
Our mobile apps have their own terms, set out in each app's policy at markarov.dev/docs/.
A security audit or penetration test is paid work, agreed in a separate written contract. Sending the form does not create one. We start no testing without your written permission to test the systems it names.
9Applicable law and changes
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you normally live.
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
We publish any change on this page with a new date at the top. A change does not affect requests sent before it.
